Self Education – An Everyday Thing?

It’s interesting how a lot of today’s youth seem to have a problem with learning (at least in the United States). What’s wrong with the way we aproach education? Is there too much work? Are the teachers lazy and incompetent? A lot of times, formal education can seem boring, and with good reason. Sitting in a classroom and listening to someone go on and on about a subject you might not care about isn’t exactly the most entertaining and productive way to spend our time.

Now, what about teaching ourselves, or even developing a passion for learning onour own? If you’re reading this, think back to a time you looked at something and thought it was interesting. Think back to the time you bought a new television or a radio and the time you put into learning how it worked. You taught yourself how to make it work…
